Alesia A. McMillen
Alesia A. McMillen was a resident circuit judge for the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. She served in Rushville.[1] First elected in 1998, McMillen was retained in 2004 and 2010.[2] McMillen retired from the court on August 1, 2014.[3]
Education
McMillen received her undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois and her J.D. from DePaul University. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1979.[4]
Career
Prior to her election to the bench, McMillen was a state's attorney for eight years and a special assistant attorney general for capital cases. She retired on August 1, 2014.[2]
