Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) appointed Carreon to the Michigan Public Service Commission on June 30, 2023, to replace Tremaine L. Phillips (nonpartisan).[1]

Biography

Alessandra Carreon earned a bachelor's degree from Rice University and a graduate degree from the University of Michigan. Carreon's career experience includes working as a carbon-free transportation manager.[2]
