Alessandro Cutrona (Republican Party) (also known as Al) is a member of the Ohio State Senate, representing District 33. He assumed office on June 26, 2024. His current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Cutrona (Republican Party) ran in a special election to the Ohio State Senate to represent District 33. He won in the special general election on November 5, 2024.
Cutrona also ran for re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives to represent District 59. He did not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 5, 2024.
On June 13, 2024, the Republican Party chairs of Mahoning, Columbiana and Carroll counties appointed Cutrona to the Ohio State Senate, representing District 33, to replace Michael Rulli (R).[1]
Biography
Cutrona is an attorney and worked as the chief operating officer and in-house counsel of Northeast Ohio Infectious Disease Associates in Youngstown at the time of his appointment to the state legislature.[2] He received a bachelor's degree in political science and history from Youngstown State University and a J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.[3]
