Aletia Haynes Timmons (Democratic Party) is a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 97. She assumed office on June 18, 2025. Her current term ends on November 18, 2026.

Haynes Timmons (Democratic Party) won election to the Oklahoma House of Representatives to represent District 97 outright in the Democratic primary on June 10, 2025, after the general election was canceled.

Haynes Timmons is also running for re-election to the Oklahoma House of Representatives to represent District 97. She declared candidacy for the 2026 election.[source]

Biography

Timmons received her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma.[1] Prior to her election to the bench, Timmons was an attorney in her own firm, Timmons & Associates, LLC. She previously worked at the firm Abel, Musser, Sokolosky, Mares and Kouri Law, the Oklahoma County District Attorney's office, and General Motors Legal Services.[2]
