Primary: He was defeated in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 25.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Jerri L. Collins and Sandra Rivera.

Finch earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law.[3]
Military service
Finch served in the United Sates Army as a Russian linguist. He was honorably discharged in 1985.[3]
Career
Finch is an attorney in private practice with twenty years of experience in corporate, transactional, and litigation experience.[3]
