As Americans, we owe it to ourselves to make sure the next generations are well educated and trained to protect the investments we have made in this great nation. A well educated workforce is happier, more productive and more prepared to enter a globalized marketplace. I believe in personal responsibility, and enabling people to make responsible choices for themselves is a function of educating them on what their life choices mean. The love of learning is taught in our schools, and lifelong learners tend to be lifelong leaders.
It's the state's responsibility to invest in infrastructure and make sure that goods, services and people are able to reach their destinations. Quality infrastructure attracts entrepreneurs and new businesses to the state, allows tourism to bring outside dollars to Missouri and ultimately helps create more desperately needed jobs.
Wasteful spending on programs that aren't working, aren't needed and cost the taxpayers millions to administer need to be eliminated. Every year, a wealth of proposals seeking funding for bad programs run through the halls of the capitol building. The benefits of any spending have to be carefully weighed against the costs. Programs that aren't necessary, are overreaches of state or federal power or that are ineptly managed must be eliminated. I look up to a lot of people. I would like to follow in those that have came before me and learn from them to help the future. I look up to my amazing family because without them I wouldn't be able to be where I am. I look to God for wisdom and knowledge to help my generation out. I look up to our Founding Father's for their inspiration to form our amazing and complex government. I look at our 44 presidents each one had their unique ideas on how and what we needed to push our country into the direction we are now.
I wish there was but I try reading and understanding the foundation of our great republic.
I think that its important to have good customer service, loyalty, and time management.
I believe in helping my fellow citizens. I believe that service comes before myself.
I think that they should know the district and be willing to work with all kinds of people.
I would love to leave a legacy that proves that this country is not lost with my generation.
The first historical event that i can remember was September 11, 2001. I was 6 years old. I remember going to the primary school gym where we had an all school assembly. We sang patriotic songs and had a fun time. I remember that the teachers were taking turns going to the principals office and crying as they came back into the gym. It was a very fast day in my brain and when I got home my mother told me that our TV was broken to protect us from the horrible day America had on that Tuesday.
I worked as a soda jersey in beautiful historic downtown Pleasant Hill's First Street. I had it between my senior year of high school and my freshman year of college. I made ice cream treats, phosphates, and more.
I am very fond presidential biographies, it helps me realize that no matter what life throws at me that someday I could be president one day.
If I could be any fictional character it would probably be Josh Lyman off of The West Wing because he makes sure that the Bartlett White House keeps running into the Santos Administration.

The amount of people that serve in each chamber. There is 163 members of the Missouri House of Representatives and only 34 members in the Missouri Senate. I think that it helps because we can all work together on what our district and region needs.
As someone who has sat on the Cass County Republican Patry Committee i think that they should have some experience in government or politics. It will help them grow in their relationships within the political world.
I think our greatest challenge is to deal with our roads and bridges. I applaud Gov. Mike Parson for trying to figure out how to get safer roads and bridges in Missouri.
I think that it helps that the governor and the state legislature works together to set the priorities of the session and see it through.
I believe that this is extremely important because in order to do anything in politics you must have a collision with you or your legislation will not get through.
I would love to be apart of the Blue Ribbon Panel on the Missouri Hyperloop, Joint Committee on Legislative Research, Elections and Elected Officials, Rules, and Children and Families.
I would love to eventually be apart of the leadership and hopefully, one day, be Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives.
I would love to model myself with them members that have covered Pleasant Hill which is former Rep. Mike McGhee and current Rep. Donna Pfautsch. There is a lot more that I would love to work on trying to become.
At this time there is none besides becoming State Representatives.
