Alex Renzi

Alexander R. Renzi is a judge on the New York Supreme Court, 7th Judicial District. He was elected to the court on November 3, 2009 and took office early the following year. His current term expires in 2023.[1][2]
Education
Judge Renzi received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and his J.D. degree from Emory Law School. He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Monroe County. He then opened his own law firm. [3][4]
Judicial career
Prior to his election to the Supreme Court, Renzi was a judge for the Monroe County Court in New York. In 1990, he became a Henrietta Town Judge. He held this position until his election to the Monroe County Court in 2002. He has also served as an acting Supreme Court Justice and Family Court Judge.[3][4]
2009 election
Renzi was elected to the court in 2009. Four candidates competed for two seats.[5]
