Alex Shook
Alex Shook (b. August 20, 1969) was a Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates. He represented District 44 from 2006 to 2010.[1]
Education
Shook earned his B.A. in psychology from West Virginia University in 1991. He went on to receive his M.S. in industrial and labor relations in 1993. He then earned his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 1997.[1]
Career
Shook is a real estate development partner for Zoey 2, Limited Liability Company. He is also partner of Hamstead, Williams & Shook Professional Limited Liability Company, Attorneys at Law.[1]

DUI arrest (2010)

Shook was arrested on January 27, 2010, on a misdemeanor DUI charge while returning from a local Chamber of Commerce dinner. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined. Shook had introduced a bill in the House on January 13, aimed at reducing recidivism of DUI driving offenses for those under the age of 21.[3][4]
