I'm a proud, lifelong resident of District 3, Milwaukee Public Schools graduate and career public defender dedicated to fighting to improve our community. I have spent my entire life on Milwaukee's East Side, graduating from Riverside High School, The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Marquette Law School. I've spent near seven years as an Assistant State Public Defender, representing indigent clients facing criminal charges. When not advocating for my clients in court, I serve as a director of the Brady Street Area Association, and a Commissioner on Milwaukee County's Human Rights Commission. My hobbies include hiking, tennis, and walking through our beautiful community with my fiancee and two dogs.
  • The County must do more to strengthen public transportation, increase affordable housing, preserve our parks, protect our environment, and keep our communities healthy and safe.
  • District 3 deserves an active County Board Supervisor who will listen, write legislation, and strengthen vital community services. As a Public Defender, I've provided legal advocacy to clients who couldn't afford an attorney and have seen first-hand how a lack of resources impacts our community.
  • If elected, I would be the only lawyer on the eighteen member County Board. With the numerous challenges facing our community, it is vital to ensure someone with legal knowledge and experience serves on the County Board.
The County needs to reinvest in providing Human Services to the community. That means taking special care of parks, public transportation, and public safety.
Elected officials must be trustworthy, hardworking, and willing to listen to constituents. I believe it's imperative that our County Board Supervisor takes an active role in the community, and dedicates themselves to connecting with the community.
As a Public Defender and lifelong resident of Milwaukee County, I have the passion and patience that I know is necessary to serve in an elected capacity.
