Alexander P. Bicket is a judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He assumed office in 2012. His current term ends on January 5, 2032.

Bicket ran for re-election for judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He won in the retention election on November 2, 2021.

Education

Bicket received a master's degree in psychology from Columbia University and a law degree at Duquesne University.[1]

Career

Since graduating from law school, Bicket has practiced civil litigation at Zimmer Kunz PLLC, where he has been a partner. He has also taught paralegal courses at Duquesne University and served as a special master to the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.[1]

2011

Bicket competed against several opponents in the primary election on May 17. He cross-filed with the Republican and Democratic parties and won the second highest percentage of votes in both primaries, 27.4 percent and 23.8%, respectively. Because he was competing for one of two open seats, he advanced to the general election.[2][3] Bicket was elected after running unopposed on November 8, 2011.[4]
