I am Alexander Perez, an afro-latino working professional. My work in the private sector spans the creation of systems of communications to streamline processes, building and maintaining digital communities, and using data to drive decision-making. Additionally, my time as a director of community affairs for a large school district taught me the value of community engagement across the entire district. It also highlighted the need to utilize resources to invest back into our most vulnerable communities to be genuinely inclusive of all voices and needs.
