Alexander P. Waugh, Jr. was a judge on the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, Part B. He served in this division since August 1, 2008.[1]

Education

Judge Waugh earned a bachelor's degree from Columbia College and a law degree from Rutgers Law School at Newark. He is now married and has three children.[2]

Career

Judge Waugh began his legal career as a law clerk to Lawrence Whipple of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He became assistant counsel to the Governor in 1978 and in 1980, he became a private practice lawyer. He later worked as an assistant attorney general. He was joined the Superior Court on January 23, 1998. His mandatory retirement date is in 2020.[1][2]
