Alexandra Bautsch is a Republican political strategist from Louisiana. She was the finance director for Bobby Jindal's 2016 presidential campaign and also served as Jindal's fundraising director. Bautsch was the treasurer for the Supriya Jindal Foundation for Louisiana's Children (also known as The Jindal Foundation), which was founded by Jindal's wife, Supriya. Bautsch is the principal and founder of The Bautsch Group, a political and nonprofit consulting firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Career
Early career
Bautsch graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. in 2004. Just prior to her graduation, Bautsch began working in the office of Bobby Jindal (R) while he was a congressman in the U.S. House. After graduation, she was hired as Jindal's office manager. In 2004, she became Jindal's finance director.[1][2]
The Bautsch Group
In 2007, Bautsch founded her political consulting firm, The Bautsch Group, in Baton Rouge. The firm has served Bobby Jindal, the Republican Governors Association, Scott Angelle, Rick Perry, America Next, Stand up to Washington, Nikki Haley, Asa Hutchinson, Greg Abbott, the Republican National Committee, and Sen. John McCain as clients.[1][3]

On June 24, 2015, Bobby Jindal announced his presidential campaign and solidified his campaign team, naming Bautsch his finance director.[4][2] Bobby Jindal suspended his presidential campaign on November 17, 2015.[5]
