Alexandra Kokura is a magisterial judge for the Luzerne County Magisterial District in Pennsylvania.[1] She was elected in November 2013 and her current term will expire in 2019.[2]

Elections

2013

Kokura ran for election to the Luzerne County Magisterial District. Primary: She received 24.42 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary on May 21, 2013, defeating Mark A. Singer, Qiana Murphy Lehman, Jeffrey Kulick, Len Sanguedolce, Art Bobbouine, Girard Mecadon, and James O'Brien. She cross-filed as a Republican but did not win that primary. 
General: She defeated Girard Mecadon in the general election on November 5, 2013, receiving 53.6 percent of the vote.

Education

Kokura earned her undergraduate degree from Lehigh University in 2004, and her J.D. from the Widener University School of Law in 2009.[3]
