Algie Howell
Algie T. Howell, Jr. is a former Democratic member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 90 from 2003 to June 30, 2014.[1]
Biography
Howell earned his B.A. from Norfolk Division, Virginia State College in 1967 and his M.A. from the Hampton Institute in 1973. A former member of the Norfolk Public School Board, Howell worked as a business owner and educator. He served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960.[2]

- HB 1704 Smoke Free Air Act; smoking in public places, civil penalties.

2013
Howell won re-election in the 2013 election for Virginia House of Delegates District 90. Howell defeated Richard James in the June 11 Democratic primary. He was unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 5, 2013.[4][5]

On November 8, 2011, Howell won re-election to District 90 of the Virginia House of Delegates. He defeated Richard James in the primary on August 23, 2011 and ran unopposed in the November 8 general election.[6]
