  • Ensure choice in education: Not all students learn at the same pace and in the same environment. Minnesota has been a leader in school choice which includes public, charter, private, parochial, homeschool, and online options
  • Advocate for local control: Education decisions are made best by parents and local school boards.
  • Fair funding for schools, teachers & students; accountable spending for taxpayers.


Veterans/Seniors

  • Support for veterans; a secure retirement for seniors
  • Provide adequate funding for job training, education and mental health services for veterans in need
  • End the taxation of social security income for seniors


Economic Reform

  • Efficient government that cost effectively funds needed priorities; Affordable health care that preserves quality and patient choice
  • Audit state programs for effectiveness and eliminate those that don't deliver promised results
  • Undertake a zero based budgeting pilot program in which budgets are built every two years based upon results delivered and not on the previous year's budget.
  • Expand health care options through competition, not a further government takeover
  • Put an end to the waste and abuse in MNsure that has cost taxpayers millions[2]
