Alice Forgy Kerr
Alice Forgy Kerr (Republican Party) was a member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 12. She assumed office in 1999. She left office on January 1, 2023.
Kerr (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Kentucky State Senate to represent District 12. She won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Biography
Kerr earned her B.S./E.L./E.D. in music from Western Kentucky University and her M.A. in higher education from Western Kentucky University.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Kathy Warnecke Ryan ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Alice Forgy Kerr ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Kerr defeated Ryan in the general election.[1][2][3]

On November 7, 2006, Kerr was re-elected to the 12th District seat in the Kentucky State Senate, defeating James E. Keller (D).[6] Kerr raised $335,884 for her campaign, while Keller raised $244,159.[7]
