Alice M. Hutchinson (b. February 18, 1954) was a Democratic candidate for District 24 of the Connecticut State Senate. The primary election was on August 10, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

About

Hutchinson received a B.A. in Theater Arts from Colorado Women's College of the University of Denver and an M.A. in Teaching from the Sacred Heart University.[1]

Hutchinson defeated Paul Rotello in the August 10 primary. She was defeated by incumbent Republican Michael McLachlan in the November 2 general election.[2][3]

Hutchinson has two children, Stephen and Sarah. They live in Bethel, Connecticut. In addition to running for Connecticut State Senate, Hutchinson has served as a member and chair of the Bethel Democratic Town Committee, chair of the Public Utilities Commission, chair of the Police Commission and first selectman for the Town of Bethel.[1]
