Alicia Gee is running as a write-in candidate for OH House District 66. She is a parent, an educator, and a community organizer. She believes our democracy must represent all persons. She will fight for justice and equity.
  • Alicia is a life-long resident of District 66, has a Master's in Education from Xavier University, and will work to help our communities grow and prosper.
  • Alicia believes in and will fight for universal access to affordable healthcare, high quality, free education, and workers' rights.
  • Equity and Justice for All
I'm running because I want to change the world, but I don't want to change the world on my own or just for people who look like me.

I want to change it for the parents who have to work 2 or 3 jobs to make sure their children have a home and food.

I want to change the world for the teachers who work tirelessly to make sure their students are not only learning but feel safe and loved when they are in their classroom.

For the people who go to work every day worried that today's going to be the day they get sick and can't afford healthcare.

For my neighbors and friends of colour who have to worry every day whether they will make it home safely or if they will become another name on the too-long list of names that have died because of police violence and institutional racism.

I'm running because our country was created by the people and for the people and if we, the people, are not represented in the village councils, in Congress, and in the statehouses, then who is this country for? Who is this state for?

I'm running to be your representative in District 66 because I want to help make your world better and when I'm elected that is exactly what I will fight for.
