Alicia L. Latimore is a judge of the Florida 9th Circuit Court. Her current term ends on January 5, 2027.

Latimore won re-election for judge of the Florida 9th Circuit Court outright after the general election on November 3, 2020, was canceled.

Education

Latimore received her B.S. degree from Duke University (in psychology) in 1985 and her J.D. degree from the University of Florida in 1990.[1]

Career

Latimore is a former appeals referee and administrative hearing officer for the Department of Labor Appeals for Unemployment Compensation. She also worked as a lawyer with a focus on marital, family and juvenile law prior to joining the bench. From 1994 to 1997, she served as a traffic infraction officer for the 9th Judicial Circuit. She was appointed to the Ninth Judicial Circuit in 2005.[1]
