Perez's campaign website stated the following:
Policies: We Can Do More
Policy Ideas for Bexar County
Judges do not write laws, but judges are responsible for how the law is carried out in real people’s lives. They can also be leaders in the courthouse to push policies that advance justice beyond what is expected in the regular job description.
In County Court, judges make daily decisions that affect liberty, dignity, access, and public trust. These are the areas where I believe a judge can lead with clarity, efficiency, and humanity while faithfully applying the law.

Disability Access & Court Accommodations
Justice must be accessible to everyone — including people with visible and invisible disabilities. Courts should be structured to support participation, understanding, and fairness for all court users.
