|My name is Alisa Blaize Dixon and I am running for Arkansas State Senate District 34. I have lived in this district for 33years and raised my four children here. I also have eight grandchildren and six of them live in this district. I love the community in which I live. I am retired after 35 years of teaching with experience in both private and public schools. I will be an independent voice for all Arkansans and not be a rubber stamp for special interest groups. I will have the courage to do the right thing and vote for what is in the best interest of my district and the people of Arkansas. I want to use my decades of educational experience to improve our public schools and provide quality education for all children regardless of their zip code. I believe in supporting Pre-K and other early childhood development programs.
