Alison Arms is a superior court judge in Chittenden County, Vermont. She serves on the criminal, civil and family divisions. Governor Peter Shumlin appointed her to the bench on July 20, 2011.[1][2]

Arms earned her B.A. in political science and history at the University of Vermont in 1991 and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1994. Arms was a student practitioner through the Student Law Office and the State of Colorado, Denver Public Defender's Office.[2][3][4]
