Alison Beale earned a bachelor's degree from Belmont University in 2014. Her career experience includes working in the music industry and as a middle school math teacher. As of 2024, Beale was a stay at home mom.[1]

Before teaching, I attended Belmont University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BBA. I worked in the music industry after graduating and while doing that, I volunteered with CASA as a court appointed advocate for children in foster care due to abuse or neglect. My volunteer work there prompted me to switch careers and become a teacher.
I never set out to be a politician…but I bought my daughter Bennett, who is in preschool, a bulletproof backpack following the Covenant shooting because of how helpless I felt, and it was then that I knew I had to step up and run - especially in the midst of the ongoing movement in Tennessee. As a mom, I see running for office as doing what I need to do to protect not just my kids, but everyone’s kids.- It's not radical to care about people. I want to restore humanity, integrity, and compassion to politics. And while that may sound naive to some, the truth is that compassion BELONGS in politics, because our elected officials and legislation determine how we live and the opportunities and resources we have access to. I believe that, ultimately, restoring the humanity we’ve lost through political division will bring the change we need. I’m working toward a future where caring for the well-being of others is no longer considered “radical,” but is the status quo.
- Tennesseans are more united than we're led to believe, and I believe in our ability to find common ground and unite around the safety of our kids. Pragmatic gun safety legislation is widely supported on a bipartisan level, but unfortunately our supermajority isn't representing any of us well - left, right, or center. With balance in our legislature will come objectivity, legislation that reflects the will of the people, and actual protection for our kids.
- Our public schools, teachers, and students need to be prioritized, fully funded, and cared for. Public dollars belong in public schools (vouchers would send public dollars to private schools), our most vulnerable children with IEPs and special needs deserve fully funded schools (they would not be eligible for vouchers and would be left in our underfunded public schools), and one test score should NOT be reason for retention - the third grade retention law is incredibly detrimental to children. Our kids and families deserve representatives who will advocate for their best interests, and as a mom and former teacher I'm ready to do that.
It inspired how I am running my campaign - a "love your neighbor" campaign with genuine care for others at the core. It's a wonderful guide to restoring humanity in our personal relationships and in our country as a whole.
