Alison McCarty is a judge on the Summit County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Akron, Ohio. She was first elected to the court in November 2008.[1] McCarty ran for re-election to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas General Division in 2014, winning a new term expiring on January 4, 2021.[2]

General: She defeated Lisa Dean in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 67.5 percent of the vote. [3][4] 

2012

McCarty was defeated by Elinore Marsh Stormer for the seat on the Probate Division of the Summit County Court of Common Pleas in the general election, receiving 46.94 percent of the vote.[5][6][7]
