I am Allen Chappell a husband of over 37 years, a father of 2 amazing kids, a grandfather/papa of 5 beautiful grandkids, a retired Green Beret Colonel with over 30 years leading Special Forces Soldiers in the Army and multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan. I have a master’s degree in strategic studies from the Army War college. After retiring in 2014 my wife and I found a beautiful location in Guilford County where we could ride horses and call home. We fell in love with our new community—a place where neighbors always lend a hand, and farming, fishing, and hunting are part of daily life. A major difference I bring to this race is my background. As a retired Colonel, Green Beret, Ranger, and combat veteran, I am a proven leader that gets results. I know how to prioritize requirements within a governmental boreoarctic budget process that will bring results for the 59th district. I understand sacrifice, resiliency, and compassion. I am not a limelight guy looking to get pictures with all the big wigs. I will bring determination, loyalty, dependability, and leadership to get results for the folks of the 59th district.
  • Government accountability - Your Tax Dollars Accounted For and Politicians Held Accountable
  • Parent's Rights - Parent's involvement in Curriculum, Policy, and School choice to include home schooling
  • Lower Taxes - Lower Property, Gas Tax, and Elimination of Inheritance Tax
I will hold elected officials accountable for our tax dollars and for their actions. No one person should ever be allowed to stop any North Carolinian from attending church or shut our schools down.

Parents should be encouraged to participate in their kids’ education and not be blocked from seeing the curriculum. Girls should be able to play sports without fear of having boys in their locker room or injuring them on the field of play. Your tax dollars should follow your child to whatever school of choice you choose as a parent.

We need lower property tax rates and greater accountability for where our tax dollars ore going! Providing more Guilford County Sherriff’s deputies should take priority over asking to house illegal immigrants or all the homeless. Just as inflation is eating away at our ability to pay rent, buy groceries or pay for gas the county and state can look for ways to tighten their belts and cut waste!
