Allen Jordan
Allen Jordan was a candidate for Ward 6 representative on the Las Vegas City Council in Nevada. He was defeated in the primary election on April 4, 2017. Click here to read Jordan's response to Ballotpedia's 2017 municipal candidate survey.
Although city council elections in Las Vegas are officially nonpartisan, Jordan identified as a member of the Democratic Party.[1]
Biography
Jordan earned a B.A. from William Paterson University, an M.B.A. from the New York Institute of Technology, and professional graduate certificates from Cornell University and the University of San Francisco.[1][2]
At the time of his 2017 run for office, Jordan was a management consultant for the FarPoint Alliance. His professional experience includes work as a corporate vice president for UBS and a systems manager for Sony. Jordan has also served on the boards of directors of Can You Identify Me? and Easter Seals New Jersey.[1][3]
