Allen Mashburn is a husband, father, and pastor. He has 30 years of ministry experience and 20 years as bi-vocational ministry, in which he was in business. As a pastor he has an extensive radio and podcast ministry downloaded worldwide. Allen is also the Co-Host of the podcast Carolina Conservatives, with a tagline of "Preachers with a Punch." Together, he and Dr. Nathan Street have taken on the hard issues in light of a biblical worldview.
  • Allen is the strongest candidate on Life in the State. ALL life must be protected, from the womb to the tomb.
  • Allen will stand strong for the Second Amendment of the United States of America. He will stand strong on all of the amendments, not just one.
  • As a pastor, Allen has officiated at quite a few veterans that have taken their own life due to what they have experienced fighting for our freedoms. He will raise the awareness of how we must reach out and be there for our veterans that need strength from their State.
Mr. Mashburn has made it clear from all of his podcasts and interviews that he is very passionate about raising the standard of righteousness in the State, and that means in our educational system and throughout. If we are to survive as a Nation and State, we must eradicate Critical Race Theory from higher education and beyond. In our public education system we must restore discipline for our educators to be able to perform their life's calling-- teach.

We must make sure that homeschools are uninterrupted with unnecessary overreach and make certain that we are getting the best return on our investment of tax dollars in the classroom.

We must continue to fight to save the unborn until abortion is eradicated from our society.
The Office of Lt. Governor has influence, voice, but little power. Our current Lt. Governor has elevated the Office to a new level and done well in his influence. We will seek to use the Office to influence a Conservative legislative agenda and keep the public better informed as to what we must have in our State to endure and excel.
Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and Guide. He has done more for me than anyone else.
The US Constitution and the NC Constitution would be best since that is what we are sworn to stand on and uphold.
The role of the Lt. Governor is to be there for the Governor when the least expected happens. Further, the officeholder should be strong and passionate about this State and the people that call it home.
I'd like to leave the State in great hands for the next generation.
This would have to be the Challenger explosion. I was in second grade and we were watching the space shuttle launch live and it then exploded. There was a holy hush across the classroom. Our teachers (now looking back) handled it with grace and poise...talking with us and helping us understand. I then remember President Reagan speaking to the Nation. Though it was a terrible day in the history of our Country, it was a great memory of leadership and how to conduct yourself in such an emergency by our teachers and President Reagan.
My very first job was at 8 years of age and it was working in tobacco. I did that most summers until I went to study for ministry.
the Bible. It is the Book of the Ages.
Both of our sons have come very close to dying. This was a tremendous struggle personally and it made me realize how important children and family really are to us.
The Lt. Governor of North Carolina currently sits on the State Board of Education and the State Board of Community Colleges, which has been very much in the news due to the CRT in in the educational system. We will stand against the leftist agenda while serving on these Boards.
People need to know that the two important roles of the Lt Governor is serving on the State Board of Education and the State Board of Community Colleges. Our community colleges need more focus.
We have had enough career politicians and political operatives. Our Nation is at a fragile state and it's career politicians that's the common denominator.

Campaign website

Mashburn’s campaign website stated the following:

FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS
The right to free speech is a mark of a free nation. Without it, we are an enslaved people, having to look over our shoulder before we speak to our neighbor or be concerned once we post something on social media living in fear that we may go to jail or be punished for thinking something different than certain people. We can’t live like this ni America. We must fight for the First Amendment— always and with whatever cost that is demanded, to remain a free people.

Second Amendment Rights
We have the right to bear arms in America and this right cannot and should never be “infringed upon.” Men and women have fought and died for our First and Second Amendment rights— and I am not going to give them up.

ELECTION INTEGRITY
The vote must be secure and the integrity of every election maintained in North Carolina. Elections should take place on one day and mail-in ballots should only be for the military abroad or disabled individuals. All votes should be counted that day and a tally should be available no later than 10 pm that evening. I am in favor of paper ballots and scanning apparatuses that are not connected to the internet. For years, we had no problem with voting on one day and getting a winner by the late night news. We can return to that if we have the fortitude to make ti to happen. Though this doesn’t fall directly under the purview of the Lt. Governor’s office, it is very important to me and this nation.

Abortion
I am glad that we have seen a drastic drop in abortions in this state. In a perfect world, we would have zero. I pray we get there— but most of all, I pray for hearts to change so there would never be another abortion desired.

MEDICAL FREEDOM
What we saw in 2020 was a trial run for a communistic nation. No workplace or government should be able to dictate to any free American what they can or cannot do. Your job should never be threatened based on what you choose to not do for your own health or your family’s health. Such ideology must be eradicated from our state and nation.

Human Trafficking
Our State needs a task force that is dedicated to human trafficking. This task force would be composed of several agents from local and state agencies, working in sync with state and federal agencies to accomplish the goal of investigating and bringing traffickers to justice. Currently, North Carolina is #7 in the Nation in human trafficking. This is not a number we should be proud of at all. We must attack this problem head-on, ridding our state of human trafficking. I desire to see it become law in North Carolina, if a perpetrator is found guilty of trafficking humans, the sentence is the death penalty.

The Fentanyl Crisis
Human trafficking and the fentanyl crisis go hand-in-hand, thus I wil propose that we have Joint-TaskForce, that focuses on the trafficking and the fentanyl crisis. There are no overdoses with this drug, a single exposure in the amount that can fit on the end of a pencil is fatal. With our borders wide-open, every state is now a border state. I want to see it passed into law that fi a person is found bringing in, trafficking and/or selling fentanyl, the perpetrator gets the death penalty.

Veterans Care
Our veterans deserve the best we have to offer. Personally, I want to see some things happen that make their life easier on the state elve—l like low-to- no cost license tag renewals and hunting and fishing licenses free for life. These may be small, but it is a small token of our appreciation to them. I want our state to be their lobbyist to the Veterans Administration and demand the best care from day one that it is sought. No one who served our Country should have need of nothing I may not can make this happen, but it is the attitude we must have towards those who served.

Memory Care Facilities
Though our state has regularly increased the allotments for skilled care, memory care facilities have been ignored over and over. The recent passing of Medicaid Expansion had nothing in the law for these type facilities, while many are having to turn away our most vulnerable citizens that have helped build this state and nation. We need to visit this issue immediately and increase the funding for those who need it most.[2]
