Alma Hernandez (Democratic Party) is a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 20. She assumed office on January 9, 2023. Her current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Hernandez (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Arizona House of Representatives to represent District 20. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Alma Hernandez was born in Tucson, Arizona. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Arizona. Hernandez has worked with PowerSource Tucson as program coordinator for Bridging the Gap, a program that helps women living with HIV/AIDS.[1]
In November 2018, Assemblymember Hernandez was elected to represent Arizona's 13th district. After election, Hernandez became a sitting member of the Federal Relations Committee and the Health & Human Services Committee.[2]
