Alon Stein
Alon Stein (Democratic Party) is a judge for the 12th Subcircuit of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He assumed office on December 2, 2024. His current term ends on December 2, 2030.

Biography
Alon Stein was born in Skokie, Illinois. Stein earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago and a law degree from University of Wisconsin Law School. His career experience includes working as an attorney and business owner. He has been affiliated with the Advocates Society, Polish-American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and the Decalogue Society of Lawyers.[1]

Alon Stein represents individuals and businesses on a broad range of complicated matters in many courts.
He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Wisconsin and Arizona. Alon Stein represents plaintiffs and defendants. He prosecutes and defends matters on behalf of his clients.
Alon Stein has tried numerous cases in several states (Illinois, Wisconsin, Arizona and Indiana); he has presided over many cases as an arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County for over a decade and; he has authored articles and lectured about various legal topics.
Alon Stein has argued appeals before the highest courts, including the Supreme Court of Wisconsin, the Supreme Court of Indiana, the appellate courts of Illinois, Indiana, Arizona and Wisconsin, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
In addition, as a business owner himself (Stein Law Offices), Alon Stein understands the pressures of running a business.
Alon Stein has served as a leader of several bar associations in the legal community. Alon and his wife Nina are very active in the local community and they have two young boys, Ari (9) and Oren (6), who love baseball and sports.
Alon Stein has been a regular sponsor of Northbrook youth baseball teams.- Alon Stein practices in many courts and represents clients on a broad range of issues, which will be useful experience on the bench.
- Alon Stein has been hearing and presiding over cases for the Circuit Court of Cook County as an arbitrator at arbitration hearings for over a decade. That experience will be useful on the bench.
- All of the rating bar associations have found Alon Stein to be recommended or qualified. In addition, the Advocates Society (the Polish-American Bar Association) found Alon Stein to be "Recommended and Endorsed".
