I am Alonzo Jackson. Native of Sumter County, Veteran of the United States Army and Qualified Candidate for District 4 Commissioner. After noticing the stagnant progress of my county, I decided to be the change my county was in dire need of. Once elected I will use American Rescue Plan Act funding accordingly, then request or apply for more funding to continue to improve our county.

My very first job was working with the University of West Alabama in Livingston at Java City located in the Julia Tutwiler Library. I had the job for about a year before graduating high school and joining the United States Army.
