Amanda Adkins
Amanda Adkins (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Kansas' 3rd Congressional District. She lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Adkins earned a bachelor's degree in human biology and anthropology from the University of Kansas in 1998. Adkins worked as a legislative aide in the U.S. Senate and as a professional staffer on the U.S. House Rules Committee. She later worked as the political and executive director of GOPAC, Inc. and was the campaign manager for U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS) from 2003 to 2004. Adkins was a vice president for the Cerner Corporation from 2008 to 2020 and served on the executive committee of the Kansas Chamber of Commerce from 2005 to 2019. From 2009 to 2013, Adkins served as chairwoman of the Kansas Republican Party.[1][2]
