Amanda Batten (Republican Party) is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 71. She assumed office on January 10, 2024. Her current term ends on January 14, 2026.

Batten (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 71. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 4, 2025.[source] The Republican primary for this office on June 17, 2025, was canceled.

Biography

Amanda Batten earned an associate degree from Frederick Community College in 1988 and a bachelor's degree from Ashford University in 2009. She has served on the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation Board of Trustees, the Commission on Civic Education, the Hampton Roads Transportation Accountability Commission, the Online Virginia Network Authority, and the Governor’s Aerospace Advisory Council. She has also served as a James City County Ruritan member, as president of the Providence Classical School Board, and as a board member of the Colonial Virginia Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Thomas Nelson Community College Educational Foundation, and the Virginia Symphony Society. Batten previously worked as a legislative aide to Delegate Brenda Pogge.[1][2]
