Amanda Benjamin (Oregon 17th Judicial District Circuit Courts, Oregon, candidate 2022)
Amanda Benjamin ran for election for judge of the Oregon 17th Judicial District Circuit Courts. Benjamin was on the ballot in the general election on November 8, 2022.
She was appointed to the court on May 5, 2021 by Gov. Kate Brown (D) to replace Thomas O. Branford.[1]
Biography
Benjamin received her bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina and her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Her legal experience includes serving as a Deputy District Attorney in Lincoln County. From January 2019 until her appointment, she served as the hearings referee and judge pro tem for the Lincoln County Circuit Court.[1]
