At just 20 years old, Amanda was elected to her local school committee. Throughout her time on the Committee, Amanda worked with parents, educators, administrators, and taxpayers—regardless of political affiliation—to provide a high-quality education to all students.
Amanda then earned her law degree from the University of Michigan. While in law school, she advocated for underprivileged families in Detroit who were facing challenges with housing, education, and social services. She also interned in The Office of White House Counsel.
Today, Amanda is a practicing attorney, advocating for her clients while devoting time and personal resources to ensure that wealth is not a barrier to good legal representation. Amanda resides in West Greenwich. You can often find her playing trivia at The Waysider, grabbing a hazelnut-flavored coffee, or walking her dog Oz around town or at the beach.- Providing a Quality Education for All Students
