Ferguson graduated from Henry Clay High School in 1984, received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky in 1988, and earned her master's degree in psychology from Vanderbilt University in 1992. Ferguson has previously worked as a program administrator at Partners for Youth, campaign manager for Pam Miller for Mayor and assistant director at The Mediation Center of Kentucky.[1]
