Amanda Mancke
Amanda Mancke was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 97 of the Illinois House of Representatives.
Biography
Mancke earned her B.A. in Teaching Spanish from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and her M.S. Ed. from the University of St. Francis (Joliet). Her professional experience includes working as a Spanish teacher at Oswego High School since 2013.[1]
Elections
2014
Elections for the Illinois House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on March 18, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Dennis Grosskopf ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Mark Batinick defeated Richard E. Chapman and Amanda Mancke in the Republican primary. Moira K. Dunn (D) replaced Grosskopf after the primary election. Batinick then defeated Dunn in the general election.[2][3][4][5]
