Amanda Matzke is the judge for the Brazos County Court at Law No. 1 in Texas.[1] She was first elected to the court in 2006 and was re-elected in 2010. She was re-elected without opposition in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[2][3]

Matzke received her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 1993. She went on to earn a J.D. from Baylor Law School in 1996.[5]

Career

Prior to her election to the bench, Matzke was a prosecutor with the Brazos County Attorney's Office from 1996 through 2006.[5]
