I have lived in Citrus Heights for 4 years now. I have a landscaping business, doing landscaping, lawn care, and yard work here in Citrus Heights as well as a business called Isbell Creations selling handmade jewelry and other items online. I am also co-authoring an Image of America Series Placerville book for Arcadia Publishing.
I grew up in South Lake Tahoe, California and I have always been involved in the community. I was the Founder and Director of Tahoe Dream Foundation in South Lake Tahoe for 5 years, which was a non-profit organization helping support local Child Care Centers and helping those in need in the community. I was the Recording Secretary for Soroptimist International SLT for two years as well as part of the Lake Tahoe Collaborative, Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, and many other organizations. I have Associates Degrees in Social Science, Natural Science, and Liberal Arts as well as my Teaching Credential. I am also currently a member of Sacramento Tree Foundation.
I love being a part of our community here in Citrus Heights and I would like to become more involved in our community in any way I can. I'm here to listen to everyone in our community that would like to be heard and by doing whatever possible to solve any issues or concerns that anyone may have. I support Affordable Housing, Environmental Sustainability, and making our community more united to work together to make a better and brighter future for all residents in Citrus Heights

Honesty, compassion, integrity, understanding, service, respect, and dignity.
I am a good listener, honest, caring, devoted, experienced in public service and nonprofits, compassionate, good at problem solving and at doing research. I like helping people and being able to do whatever ai can to help make a community better.
To listen our community and to solve any issues they may have to the best of our abilities or at least try to find a way to compromise to make it a little better if possible. As a member of City Council it would be my responsibility to work with the other City Council Members to make our community a better place which will provide a better and brighter future for all residents in our city.
Babysitter for a neighbor. I babysat for them for about 5 years. Once the girl was old enough to no longer need a babysitter, I would babysit other neighbors kids and still to this day I am a Nanny/ Babysitter here and there as needed for many families through Happy Heary Childcare Services, Lake Tahoe Sitters, Care.com, and from referrals.
Both are critical to ensure funds are being spent appropriately and that the public can trust those in office.
