Amos Morrill
Amos Morrill (1809-1884) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
He was nominated by President Ulysses Grant on January 18, 1872. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 5, 1872, and received commission that same day. He retired on October 18, 1883.[1] Morrill was succeeded in this position by Chauncey Brewer Sabin. Morrill died on March 5, 1884.
