Amy H. Balderrama was a 2014 Green candidate for District 23 of the Tennessee State Senate.[1]

Biography

After growing up in northern Ohio, Balderrama moved to Arizona where she worked in the real estate and development field. A job transfer later brought her to Tennessee where she continued to work in building management. She holds LEED BD+C and O+M accreditation and serves as a building science technician.[2]

Elections for 18 seats in the Tennessee State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 7, 2014. A general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 3, 2014. Incumbent Jack Johnson was unopposed in the Republican primary. Amy Balderrama ran as a Green candidate. Johnson defeated Balderrama in the general election.[4][1]
