What qualifications do you have that makes you fit for the position?
“ | I have a background in education. I have a Masters in Education and have taught middle school and high school science, and coached volleyball, basketball and track. These experiences have allowed me to better understand what it takes first hand for teachers and students to be successful in the classroom. I am also a parent of a kindergartener and [fifth] grader. I know what it is like to be a parent of a Conway school student, so I can relate to other parents and their concerns. This is my second year as Theodore Jones’[s] PTO president. Why should residents vote for you?
“ | Residents should vote for me because I truly believe in our public schools, and I want them to succeed. We have a diverse population filled with students with a variety of interests and abilities. I want to be sure that our schools are equipped to teach to that diversity to develop productive citizens.[3] | ” |
