Amy Krause sworn in as Michigan Court of Appeals judge

Lansing, Michigan: Amy Krause officially became a judge of the Michigan Fourth District Court of Appeals before an audience of over 200 people on February 24, 2011. The investiture ceremony was held in Lansing, MI. Krause, a former judge of Michigan's 54A District Court, was appointed to the Court of Appeals by Gov. Granholm in November of 2010. She replaces Justice Alton Davis, who was promoted to the Michigan Supreme Court. "It is a humbling experience to be able to continue to serve the people of the state of Michigan," Krause stated. Her initial term will expire on January 1, 2013.[1]
