Amy Lockhart was the District 4 representative on the Seminole County Public Schools school board in Florida. Lockhart sought and secured another term on the board in 2016 when she was unopposed in her bid for re-election. The election for her seat was canceled and she was automatically re-elected.

Lockhart retired November 20, 2018, to run for the Seminole County Commission.[1]

One of the five seats on the Seminole County Public Schools school board was up for primary election on August 30, 2016. In her bid for re-election, District 3 incumbent Dede Schaffner lost to challenger Abby Sanchez. The seat of District 4 incumbent Amy Lockhart was set to be on the ballot in 2016, but she filed for re-election unopposed. Her name did not appear on the ballot, and she was automatically re-elected to an additional term.[2][3]
