Amy Palumbo is an officeholder of the Oklahoma Judicial District 7. Palumbo assumed office on January 13, 2019. Palumbo's current term ends in 2026.

Palumbo won re-election to the Oklahoma Judicial District 7 outright in the primary on June 28, 2022, after the general election was canceled.

Palumbo was a 2015 Republican special election candidate for District 85 of the Oklahoma House of Representatives.[1] Palumbo was also a 2014 candidate for the Seventh District Court in Oklahoma.[2]

A special election for the position of Oklahoma House of Representatives District 85 was called for September 8. A primary election took place on July 14.[3] The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was May 6, 2015.[4][3]

The seat was vacant following David Dank's (R) death.[4]

Cyndi Munson was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Chip Carter defeated Matt Jackson, Amy Palumbo and Ralph Crawford in the Republican primary.[1][5][6] Munson defeated Carter in the special election.[7]

Palumbo ran for the Seventh District Court in 2014. She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 49.5 percent of the vote. She competed against Roger Stuart, who received 50.5 percent of the vote.[2]

Palumbo received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and her J.D. from the Oklahoma City University School of Law.[8]

Career

Palumbo is an associate at the firm of Marco Palumbo & Associates. She previously worked as a public defender and as an assistant district attorney in Oklahoma County.[8]
