I am described by others as Strong, Courageous, down to earth, Passionate, and most of all DETERMINED. My priorities have to do with the basic things that make life worth living, and improving the standards of which we all live. While human; I strive to be the change I want to see in the world every day.
  • Campaign finance reform is not a question of whether it needs done. It’s a question of who will do it? Answer I stand for campaign finance reform!
  • Education from the bottom up needs change to keep up with world demands.
  • My office is open, meaning call me, stop by, private message me on Facebook. I will be there to answer you today and when in office.

My Grandmother Roberta (Berdie) Ford, with over a hundred and twenty descendants Grandma is filled with love for us all. Until she could no longer do it; we were all welcomed with a solid meal to eat, something to drink, and time/attention if we showed up at her doorstep. Even with her age she still remembers what’s important/ individualistic about each and every one of us. She cheers us on from the sidelines and genuinely cares about how we are doing.
She has never been rich monetarily. Instead her spirit is bright enough to fill a room with light. She’s always known what’s truly important. I respect her beyond the love I have for her because her love for us has been unconditional. In treating us this way we have all had the freedom to mess up, get up dust ourselves off, and strive to do better. It’s time for society to do better. Let’s dust ourselves off together. Let’s be the change we want to see in the world and lead the next generation to prosperity.
The ability of the elected official to see how to take the issues presented and create policy changes without trampling on individual rights and freedoms.
I have been a homeless single custodial mother of two. I will never be able to stick my nose up in the air at anyone. I can’t be bought. I don’t give up/compromise my values.
To work on what the people want. No matter what they as an individual want.
My hopes for my legacy is that people see that I truly put my love of the people above everything. That I fight in a common sense way for the things that matter in their daily lives. That I leave the world a better place even if just for a moment.
Babysitting, off and on from middle school on post marriage.
My second job was working at McDonalds for a summer during high school.
Good Omens by Neil Gaimen my friend Sym reading it to the household years ago holds special memories
Welcome to the pride? Five finger death punch.
I have faced more struggles than can be summarized easily, up to and including being dead twice. I have worked hard to overcome my past. I have helped others to do the same. My struggles don’t matter, my overcoming them does.
It’s ability to utilize committees of lawmakers to address specific areas of law that they have personal experience or interests in. Then to debate the issues as a larger whole and craft change to drafts. It makes what gets handed to the senators more complete and broader reaching than the thoughts of one person.
Changing the ways we prepare our youth for a machine based world. Keeping our allies while forming new alliances.
Yes , but I need more definition to make final decisions for where I can do the most good.
No I believe it should run tandem with the senate. The amount of work it takes to get one law passed or changed is huge. The House should have more time to refine what they are working on.
We have needed them for a long time.
Yes, the story of a family whose children are now in Childrens Services custody. The only solid reason is that the parents have learning disabilities. I have known this family for years and the parents are not abusive or neglectful. I have spoken to the children and they don’t have allegations of abuse. I am morally outraged by this situation, and will stand up for the family in any way I can.
The polish just bought a bunch of tanks as soon as they figure out how to get those septic tanks moving they’re going to invade. I know it’s a bad dad type joke. It’s purposeful though. Don’t spend money on things that won’t do the job/ do due diligence in research. Totally politically incorrect though.
Compromise is absolutely necessary for policymaking. No one person knows it all, and should work with others for the respect of differing beliefs and opinions. My line gets drawn at denial of hard cold facts.
It’s a huge power, and directing resources into the problems at hand can make a huge difference in day to day life issues.
