Ana Valencia ran against six other candidates, including incumbents Ed Hengler, Margarita L. Rios and Darryl Rodney Adams as well as challengers Salvador Limon, Sean M. Reagan, and Mark Owen White for four seats in the general election on November 5, 2013.[2]

Election results

On November 5, 2013, four seats were up for election on the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District Board of Education. Candidates Margarita L. Rios, Darryl Rodney Adams, Sean M. Reagan and Ana M. Valencia defeated three challenging candidates for four positions on the NLMUSD Board of Education.
