Anastacia “Anise” Golden Morper born in New Mexico, is a third-generation New Mexican business owner, & has been a Conservative since she was 18. She began working in real estate and farming, at 18 opened a construction co, then back in real estate 10 yrs later. She has negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts on behalf of others & has received numerous awards for her outstanding accomplishments in her profession. She has built several successful businesses. Anastacia believes strongly in our Constitution. In 2020 Anastacia filed suit against the NM Secretary of State for violating the people’s Right to Petition the Government. She won the fight in the New Mexico Supreme Court with a 4-1 victory resulting in case law protecting our First Amendment rights & Election Integrity(case number S-1-SC-38173 ). A strong supporter of our Second Amendment rights, Anastacia learned the proper methods to handle firearms at a young age. Anastacia believes responsible law-abiding individuals owning firearms without unreasonable restrictions is a valuable part of the Bill of Rights. Anise has volunteered for various organizations including PB&J Family Services, Presbyterian Hospital, DMAT, & Bernalillo County Fire Department as an EMT. She additionally volunteered for mission work in Mexico building homes. She is currently a member of P.E.O., BPE & FRW. She has been an Ombudsman for the real estate industry & an alumnus of the Leadership Institute.

Anastacia’s favorite part, the Lieutenant Governor’s position is an Ombudsman, or liaison, between the citizens of New Mexico and the Governor, as per our state’s constitution. Anastacia will create a relationship with the citizens to help promote the wellbeing and success of each community. Another duty of the Lieutenant Governor is to preside over the New Mexico Senate when it is in session, hearing the debates on every bill, and breaking a tie vote when the Senate is equally divided. Anastacia understands that it is her duty to be familiar with the details of every bill. The Lieutenant Governor has signed bills into law in the past in New MexicoAnise has negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts on behalf of others and has received numerous awards for her outstanding accomplishments in her profession. Since then, she has built several successful businesses. She has a history of representing others for their success and will do the same as your Lieutenant Governor. . Anastacia will align herself strongly with the constitution when making decisions. The Lieutenant Governor is appointed to multiple cabinets, boards, and commissions, which, in Anastacia’s view, creates the opportunity for fiscal savings and accountability for each. The Lieutenant Governor also serves as the Acting Governor when the Governor is out of the state
