Andre has been planted in the Phoenix area for almost 20 years and has made a living solving complex problems within the tech industry. Andre's career success was predicated on his ability to form and communicate problem statements, collect and analyze information, identify and involve key stakeholders, and being diligent to pursue models until a workable solution is reached. These are the attributes that will lend to him being an excellent city councilman.
Andre is currently a mathematics major at Arizona State University. Concurrently, Andre was employed with Nikon Precision Inc, the leader in manufacturing of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry. Prior to being employed with Nikon, Andre spent 16 years working for America's 46th largest corporation-Intel-primarily as an engineer. There, he learned the value of safety, quality, and customer orientation.
Andre is naturally inclined to logical thinking and problem solving, but he received additional training in this area through his studies in mathematics at ASU.
In his spare time, Andre is usually building or fixing something around his home or enjoying the early childhood years of his four children with his wife Glenda.
  • Uncompromising requirement for proper stakeholder management
  • Uncompromising focus on the safety of our city employees and residents
  • Uncompromising resolve to solve problems using information and avoiding partisan politics
I am passionate about safety and economic policy.
People feel the effects of local policy more than that of the state or federal government.
Integrity and the conviction that the people want policies that are fair and logical implying that policy should not be bought by outside influences. Elected officials should avoid all conflict of interests.
Intensive data analysis and problem solving skills which implies great stakeholder management.
Listen to the concerns of the people, solve issues plaguing communities, and ensure the city is being managed appropriately.
I would like to leave the office in 12 years showing that it is possible for elected officials to stay non-partisan, avoid conflict of interests, and drive to solutions based on information rather than politics.
The power to draft policy may seem of little concern but it can alter the landscape of our city over night so we must be diligent to ensure fair and logical policies are being drafted and voted on. We need to make sure organizations from others states are not trying to influence the make up of Phoenix.
No, the holders of this office should have experience in data analysis, project management, and/or problem solving or any other area that requires impeccable stakeholder management.
Uncompromising stakeholder management and structured problem solving techniques are essential to creating policy that is fair and logical.
