Andrea Dryer appointed to Iowa's First District Court

Des Moines, Iowa: Andrea Dryer was appointed by Gov. Branstad as the newest judge of the Iowa First Judicial District Court on May 27, 2011. Dryer, 44, has served as an assistant public defender for Black Hawk County since 2004. Previously, she was an assistant county attorney in the counties of Winneshiek and Buchanan. She will replace Judge Bruce Zager, who was appointed to the Iowa Supreme Court.[1][2]
